E-Rick/E-Cart category at ICAT for CMVR certification:
Pre-Requisite : Administrative Documents
In order to add name of your Organization in ICAT’s List of Customers, we request you for submission of following documents completely filled and scanned copies of original documents wherever applicable-:
1. Copy of TAN, PAN and GST no (If proprietor declaration required on letter head that Personal Pan no. is used for firm IT RETURNS)
2. WMI Code, WMI code is considered as a proof for your manufacturing facility. It is issued by BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standard, New Delhi)
3. A brief profile of the company
4. Authorization letter
Technical Documentation :
1. Technical Specifications: Technical Specifications as per AIS-007 format will be required to be submitted along with application, duly filled in all respects.

2. Details about Safety Critical Components Details about Safety Critical Components / Systems are required to be furnished, giving details on Test Reports / TAC No. of already certified components, along with any other relevant document details.
3. Drawings: Along with all the technical specifications all vehicle and system level drawings will need to be attached as per the clause numbers including seating layouts & vehicle photographs..
Homologation Process:
1. Submit all administrative documents mentioned above.
2. You will be provided with IOCS login (ICAT digital portal i.e. iocs.icat.in/icat) where you will be required to upload all technical documents along with application letter and checklists.
3. You will be required to deposit 100% advance and only then the case will be processed for testing.
4. After testing, all departments will provide reports after interacting with customer, and will be sent to CMVR.
5. CMVR will prepare a certificate on receipt of reports from all departments and will be issued to the customer.
6. Approximately for vehicle level testing cost would be Rs 6.5 lakhs including GST.
